Part of the problem with the injustice system is that there are those who claim to be “God-fearing Christians”, but then they lie under oath or present things to the court that are blatantly and knowingly false.
Some say that being a Christian is using a crutch. If that’s so, then why does the crutch seem to jump up and beat you over the head at times?
Many also misunderstand what to means to be a Christian: it is not just saying “I am a Christian”, nor is it even just believing that Jesus lived, or that He lives today. And it is certainly (1) not using the term as a means to avoid the consequences of your actions, or (2) a means of doing whatever you want in the belief that you will be forgiven[1]. True following is taking it very seriously and repenting when necessary, changing your ways, and providing apologies and restoration to those you have injured.
It is a life making Jesus Lord, trying to follow Christ – and that sometimes means going through hard things as He tries to mould our lives. It means telling the truth, even when it hurts, or is hard, embarrassing or even risking jail. It is being willing to have your reputation wrecked by those who would sink even to the level of being unscrupulous.
It means not lowering yourself to the low level of those who choose to act as liars and thieves. It means standing up against wrongs done to others (as well wrongs done to as yourself). It means that you have to lean on Him and not others, and certainly not lean on lies that might sound good and which might get you out of a tricky situation, but will in fact ultimately get you deeper into trouble when you have to account for them.
Telling the truth at any cost means being able to have a clear conscience, and that you are in a place where, once others look past all the deception and can see the truth, the truth is exposed, you will be vindicated.
God is very clear that He hates liars:
“Psalm 63:11: [T]he mouths of liars will be silenced”.
“Proverbs 17: 4, 11: A wicked person listens to deceitful lips; a liar pays attention to a destructive tongue. … Evildoers foster rebellion against God; the messenger of death will be sent against them”.
“Revelations 21:8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death”.
God is very clear that we are to live as Jesus lived: in truth and honesty. Below are some other verses that discuss how to live and the results of living otherwise:
“Deuteronomy 19:16-21: If a malicious witness takes the stand to accuse someone of a crime, the two people involved in the dispute must stand in the presence of the Lord before the priests and the judges who are in office at the time. The judges must make a thorough investigation, and if the witness proves to be a liar, giving false testimony against a fellow Israelite, then do to the false witness as that witness intended to do to the other party. You must purge the evil from among you. The rest of the people will hear of this and be afraid, and never again will such an evil thing be done among you. Show no pity: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot”.
“Proverbs 19: 21-22: Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails. What a person desires is unfailing love; better to be poor than a liar”.
“John 8:44-45: You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me!”
“I Timothy 1:8-10: We know that the law is good if one uses it properly. We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, … and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine”.
“1 John 1:6: If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth”.
“1 John 2:4-6: Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did”.
And, as for me: “Although I am right, I am considered a liar…[2]”
Sadly, in my current situation (as revealed in this website), I have been prolifically defamed, bullied, harassed and lied about by those who stood against me in relation to what happened at the Neerim North quarry, in VCAT and in the various courts. Sadly also, is the fact that, because of all the defamation, and lies, the VCAT members and the courts unwittingly increased the injustice perpetrated against me by having been unknowingly led astray and making decisions based on the other sides’ fraudulent misrepresentations, negligent misstatements and outright lies (including under oath), and have therefore unsuspectingly been a tool of those acting against me in grinding me into the ground and taking me from a place of sufficiency into a place of insolvency and bankruptcy[3].
God is the God of justice and truth, and He is the one who vindicates. I am waiting patiently for Him to bring justice, truth and vindication when He has accomplished His purposes in my life and in the lives of those who exhibit no evident fear of Him.
Meanwhile, I know that I have told the truth (to my great cost) and that I am living a life of uprightness – therefore, to that extent, in spite of having been robbed[4] and defamed, I have won because I have won the war on integrity and honesty, and I stand as testament that God supplies all your needs, because He has supplied mine – and He has done so in spite of the fact that I have been robbed by man X, man Y, CASACIR** and their legal teams. God continues to supply my food, clothing and a roof over my head (even though it is not my roof), for all of which I an extremely grateful and thankful.
** Any reference to CASACIR or its directors, shareholders, owners or operators relates to pre-14 February 2024 when the company was sold. In no way can anything said relate to the company or its new owners, operators, directors, and shareholders after that sale.
