Susan lives in Churnside Park in Victoria, Australia, and has replaced her late husband, (identified elsewhere as “man Y”) as an unsecured creditor in my former bankruptcy.
Previously I had heard nothing about Susan and wasn’t even really aware of her existence. Now she is a multi-millionaire in her own right (presumably having inherited a large portion of her husband’s mega-million dollar estate, yet she is going after my husband for peanuts – amazing, and (I contend) greedy (her husband, already a multi-multi-millionaire, just received a further approximate $30million as his share of the sale of CASACIR). What some people will do for a buck. Where is her conscience?
Because she had not previously participated in any of the dramas I had had with her late husband, I thought she might have been of different ilk to him. It appears however, that I may have been wrong: because he is dead, Susan has taken up the baton and, although I am out of bankruptcy (i.e. fully discharged), she has taken out covert action in the Federal Circuit and Family Court against me.
What is the action for? who knows, but she has done it without discussion or notification and I only know because I was told about it. …
Now, months later, I know what she’s up to: she and man X have taken legal action (without having attempted any genuine steps (or any steps at all) before commencing action, and are trying to illegally obtain a windfall. In spite of there being no positive equity in a property transfer between my husband and myself in 2016, Susan and man X are trying to get all the benefits of my husband having paid out the loans, having done significant improvements (including subdivisions and new builds), and she and man X want the entirety of that enhanced equity (half of which had been my husband’s in the first place). They have stated that they want the entirety of the one property my husband lives on and his one investment property, as well as his car. He had not had anything to do with my bankruptcy, but they are going after my husband because they have already taken everything from me and he is the only one with anything left.
What can I say about the ethics and character of someone who does that? In my opinion, it is shameful, downright nasty, and disgraceful at best. It certainly does seem that she is indeed cast in the same old as her late husband.

It is a nice enough house, albeit aged and requiring a lot of work to bring it up-to-date (in my opinion). Why have I put it up there? – so you can see that she is not short of money, lives in comparative grandeur (she is asking $3.2-3.5 million for her property) and yet, although a multi-millionaire prior to the sale, she is going after my husband for comparative peanuts!!
They say that what goes around comes around – I certainly hope so.
