Any reference to CASACIR or its directors, shareholders, owners or operators relates to pre-14 February 2024 when the company was sold. In no way can anything said relate to the company or its new owners, operators, directors, and shareholders after that sale.
Alexis Valenza had been the person who, as an employee of Hyder, had overseen the water quality and quantity monitoring, and had authored and/or approved the reporting at the Neerim North quarry from December 2009.
In 2011, Valenza commenced his own company, Valenza Engineering Pty Ltd (I will refer to Valenza Engineering Pty Ltd as ValenzaE to differential between the person and the company)[1].
At the start of 2011 ValenzaE took over the water quality and quantity reporting and monitoring at the Neerim North quarry. The horrible saga that had commenced under Hyder, then continued in the same fashion – therefore, ValenzaE is responsible for all the monitoring mistakes since then.
For years ValenzaE made claims that were not true, some of which based on its suggestions to man X, man Y and CASACIR, made in the knowledge that man X, man Y and CASACIR were going to continue to ignore those suggestions.
For more details of ValenzaE’s conduct, see my page on “Wetland and Swale”.
In summary, I am appalled that ValenzaE is obviously happy to make claims when the exact opposite is clearly the case, and to have used polluted and contaminated results as its standard baseline.
[1] ValenzaE’s website, in spite of only commencing in 2011, gives the impression that the company has been operating for 20 years.
