2020 – January update

21 January

A simple look at Google Earth reveals much of what I said on 19 January, and additionally shows: (1) the office building to be a different shape that that granted endorsement; (2) two additional buildings to those given endorsement; and (3) that they have excavated outside the work authority area to the east. But there again, who is going to monitor them? There has been an apparent absence of anybody with the intestinal fortitude to take man X, man Y and/or CASACIR on in any serious or meaningful way so far. I keep hoping this website will change that, but the results so far seem to be indicate that they are all thumbing their noses at all the revelations.

19 January

It is absolutely amazing to see that, without me living in the area and thereby causing the regulatory authorities to have some vague kind of appearance of rcwrsight and the demand for compliance, that there appears to be very little compliance and no obvious oversight – it is very easy to see who is in charge and it is not the regulatory authorities! My trip out there today revealed that: there is still no planting on the south-west bund; there is still no planting around the immediate north, west and immediate south of the filthy dam; there is still not the designated plantings on the western boundary; the plantings on the northern bund are still in a regimented single line; there is still no security of the site (the front gates were wide open (remembering this was a Sunday when there is no activity, no work and no sales), the corner gate was still unlocked, there was a huge hole in the gate on Palmer Road, there were a number of areas where there was very loose fencing); there are still “mountains” of overburden and resource to the east where it is not allowed (and in spite of man X, man Y and CASACIR being told to remove it) – and the dust and other pollutants from those mountains will be carried into the filthy dam that man X, man Y and CASACIR all falsely call the “fresh water dam” and/or the “clean water dam” even though it is polluted by hydrocarbons, E-coli and other contaminants); there were a significant number of areas where the impacts of the quarry can be seen from outside the site (including from the southern end of Neerim North Road where the mountain of illegally placed resources towers over the trees); there is still no ability to see one post with the WA number on it able to be seen from the next (unless you have x-ray vision like man X and can see around corners and through hills) – and there are some posts with the number and/or paint having worn off; there is still no “wetland” or any replacement – even though it was required to be in place and working in 2012 or earlier; man X, man Y and CASACIR have put machinery, resources and other rubbish outside the area allowed to be used for those things (and it is easily seen from Palmer Road); there is resource on the south-west bund that was not to be there – the area was undertaken to be a “hard stand” area for trucks and other vehicles; the Neerim North Road is still in appalling condition and not maintained as required by man X, man Y and CASACIR’s permit conditions, and so on. It is so hard to believe that man X, man Y and/or CASACIR can have such power over the regulatory authorities that the regulatory authorities are more than prepared to look sooo grossly inept and, as Anne Bignell succinctly put it in 2013: look as if they are “in cahoots” with man X, man Y and CASACIR (perhaps look at my webpage on what I have called “collusion” – based on my personal observations).

I have updated the Quality Roads and Stabil-Lime page to include photos in case a customer wants to see the “quality” supplied to the Neerim North Road by them.

I have also added a page on what I call “collusion”.
